Fortson cleared to play against Texas

      FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas coach John Pelphrey says guard Courtney Fortson has been cleared to play as the Razorbacks prepare to take on Texas.

      Fortson has been suspended all season, but the school wouldn't say why. The school released a statement late Tuesday afternoon - less than two hours before tip-off against Texas - saying that Fortson will return to game competition.

      Pelphrey says Fortson has "worked hard to address personal issues and meet objectives to facilitate his return to active competition."
