Friday, January 08, 2010

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Steve Caldwell and Kris Cinkovich are joining the Arkansas football staff as assistant coaches.

Caldwell will coach the Razorbacks defensive ends and Cinkovich will work with wide receivers. The school announced the additions Wednesday.

Caldwell, a former Arkansas State player, spent 14 seasons as a coach at Tennessee. Cinkovich spent the last six seasons on the UNLV staff.

Arkansas had openings on coach Bobby Petrino's staff after offensive coordinator Paul Petrino left to take the same position at Illinois. Defensive ends coach Kirk Botkin will not return.
